What a week!!!

This week has been great. I'm sad that our weekend celebration of our 1st anniversary is over though. We had a blast. It started on Friday and we went to P.F. Changs for dinner. Well, the food was good but on the car ride out to our hotel I got super sick. Our hotel was nice, they folded the hand towel in the bathroom into a shirt and tie.

On Saturday we weren't quite ready to go home so we made a pit stop at the Colorado Mills Mall. I LOVE shopping (even if its just the window kind)!!! While we were there we ran into a few of Harry Potter's friends. Maybe you know them, Hagrid, Ron, and Hermione?

Sunday we went to church because I had to teach in Primary and Jared had a meeting to attend. After church we went to my parents house for dinner and cake. It was a lot of fun. My mom made us a cake since we never had a wedding cake. She would have made us a wedding cake but she was too busy making my dress. (You're the best mom EVER!) But the cake looked and tasted AMAZING.

Monday we went snowboarding. That was our big outing for our anniversary. I felt bad though because I am not as good as Jared and we had to leave early because I was too big of a baby to keep going. But it was nice just to be able to enjoy our time together. Even though I was hurt we still had a blast.

This week hasn't been bad. I had Monday and Tuesday off. So I only had a three day work week. Jared was back to school and work on Tuesday. He works so hard. Mid-terms are coming up so I won't see him for about a week. But all is well. Until next time. HAVE AN AWESOME WEEKEND!!!!!

I can't believe its been a year!

This past year has been the best year of my life. Why, you may ask? Well, its because I have spent the past year married to the most amazing man in the world. I thank our Heavenly Father everyday for blessing me with such a wonderful husband. I couldn't have asked for a more loving, caring, respectful, fun, talented, I could go on and on, and special husband. I don't know why I am so lucky.

I love you Jared with all of my heart. This year has been so wonderful. I look forward to all of our years and eternity together.

I wish everyday was the weekend

Ok so I'm slacking again. This blogging is harder than I thought. I'm always to tired when I get home from work to sit down and write about my day. Props to those of you who can do it at least every other day. You are my blogging heroes.

Speaking of HEROES I'm totally addicted to that show. It just keeps getting crazier and crazier and I love it. I'm sad Jared can't watch it with me because of his class Monday nights. But I still enjoy it.

This past weekend was fun. We went up to Cheyenne and spent the Saturday with Kimmy and Tyson. (AKA proud parents of an alien peanut) They keep the ultra sound of the baby on the refrigerator, its so cute. Anyway, we went to Tysons shop and played on the crane. I don't have those pics yet but I'll put them up when I get them. Then we went to downtown Chyenne and walked around. It would have been more fun for me if the wind wasn't blowing and I hadn't had a fever. We went to an art gallery and walked around there a bit and then we went and toured the old govener's mansion that is now a museum. It was pretty SWEET! Then for dinner Tyson cooked us MONSTER steaks on the grill. They were amazing, even though mine was still mooing. We just love spending time with Kimmy and Tyson.

Sunday was a normal day. I was still sick and had to try my best to stay awake in church. I didn't have to teach so it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy Relief Society. Jared and I rushed home from church so we could eat before our HT came over. Then Jared went to a priesrhood meeting.


Monday was an awful day for me. I was still sick and decided to go to work anyway. Well that was not a good idea. The kids were out of control and then at the end of the day one of them threatened me. It affected me more than I thought it would. SO I decided to stay home today.



So that's what has been going on with us. We are very excited to celebrate our first anniversary . Love to all and we'll talk to you soon.

I'M SORRY!!!!!

I told you all I would try to keep this updated, I guess I'm not as good as I thought I would be. Jenny, thanks for your concern, we have not turned into snow people. It's amazing how fast time goes by and how busy life gets.

Things have been good here in Denver. This week has been warm!!! Its sad when 40 degrees is considered warm. But the sun has been shining and the snow is MELTING!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Jared is busy with work and school and keeping on top of his church calling as well. Every night he has some sort of project he's working on. He is really enjoying being the Art Director in his Collective Animation class. They are working on a two minute short that should turn out well. Hopefully everyone will get a chance to see it. He is also in his first Thesis class in which he will animate his own two minute short. In that class he will do the work that nine people are doing in his collective class. And with work and church on top of all that you can see why he's such a busy man.

I am still enjoying my job. I love the kids I work with. They are all crazy, but I love them. I also get to teach a Theater class and a Speech class this semester. Its very challenging for me but its fun. I am totally enjoying my theater class. Its fun to watch the kids really get into it.

This past weekend we had a lot of fun. On Friday we went out to eat and then to a movie. On Saturday we got up early to watch my little brothers in their basketball tournement.(which was rigged!!!!) We were planning on going up to Breckinridge to check out the snow sculpture contest that they have there but the weather was bad in the mountains. That night we took Matt with us to Fat City. We had a blast playing mini golf, arcade games, but mostly air hockey. Jared was the all time champ. On Sunday after church we went to my sisters apartment and watched the Super Bowl (GO COLTS!!!!). We had fun. Its always fun hanging out with family, even if they are crazy Bears fans.

We decided that since we never took a hand picture at our wedding we would take one with our Super Bowl rings. (mine didn't even fit my thumb it was so big) I know, you must think we are so wierd!!
